Work From Any Computer - Sycamore Education gives teachers freedom! Sycamore is completely web-based, so you can access ALL you classroom information from any pc or mac computer with an internet connection.
Classroom Web Page - Each class room has its own, individual web page. Teachers are able to control each page with limitless options: pictures, documents, assignments, calendars, grade book, and much more, are all included in each class page.
Classroom News - Each class web page can include a section devoted to news articles created by the teacher. These articles can be shared with both students and parents. Articles can easily be published to mutiple classrooms with a few clicks, and you have the option of adding some 'blog' functionality by allowing parents and students to post comments.
Classroom Calendar - Teachers can add assignments which automatically show up on the calendar, where students and parents alike can view it. Teachers can also request that an event be published on the school-wide calendar.
Classroom Documents - Easily upload any type of documents to your classroom page and make them instantly available for your students to view, download, and/or print - no more excuses!
Classroom Photos - A fun way to add personality to your classroom site. Add photos from a field trip or photos that pertain to a certain lesson.

Online Attendance - Sycamore Education makes taking attendance simple, and fast. And with the click of a button, attendance is submitted the school office in real time.
Daily Lesson Plans - Create lesson plans - with standards, resources, assessments, etc. - for each day of the week and post them for your personal records.
Homework Drop Box - Sycamore gives you option of allowing students to turn in assignments online. Great for classes that meet on a non-regular basis.
Online Tests - Create dynamic online tests with multiple options: multiple choice, true/false, essay questions, and more. Grades are automatically generated by points per question. Easy way to save paper, too.
Student Notes - Easily create and organize notes on students. This features has a variety of uses - document changes in behavior, keep notes for upcoming parent-teacher conferences, etc.
Integrated Grade Book - Everything a teacher could ever want in a grade book. Sycamore offers configurable grading criteria, and we make it easy to create assignments and enter grades. Once grades are posted they are instantly available to parents and students.

Missing Assignment Report - Get rid of the clutter and confusion - Sycamore allows you to quickly and easily generate a missing assignment report for any class.
Seating Charts - Configure multiple seating arrangements, which can include photos of the students within the seating chart. Very helpful for substitute teachers
Email Parents - Sycamore make communication easier - quickly send out an email to one parent, or send a batch email to any group of parents.

Custom Reports - Quickly generate the information you need, when you need it. Sycamore offers many predefined report as well as dynamic reporting which allows you to pick the data to generate for a report.
Standard Reports - Print attendance reports, classroom medical reports, family or student contact mailing labels, student birthdays, student addresses, and much more. You can even create a report using Google Maps to pinpoint the addresses of all your students.
Pass-A-Note - This is one of Sycamore's most popular items. The Pass-a-Note (PAN) feature makes it easy for administrators, teachers, parents, and students to communicate. PAN's can be sent to an individual, or to an entire list with the click of a button. PAN's can even be sent as text messages to your cell phone. Unlike email, PAN's eliminate the risk of viruses, and they allow the sender to confirm that the message was delivered. Our clients have discovered that the Pass-a-Note feature significantly reduces the number of phone calls to the front office.
