The school is now selling magazine subscriptions.   All subscriptions, renewals, and special offers on magazines can be handled through the school program.

 

Several guidelines to be followed:

 

• Children are not allowed to sell door-to-door.  Children should sell only to family, friends, relatives, or church members.
• All checks should be made payable to "Emmanuel-Faith Lutheran School."
• Payment should be made with the order.
• Write clearly on all order blanks.
• When renewing, be sure to copy the magazine label exactly as it is printed.

School Pictures will be taken on Friday, September 3.

 

• Pictures of preschool students will begin at 7:45 a.m.
• Kindergarten pictures will begin at 8:15, with the other classes following in order.
• All students will be photographed for the yearbook.
• To purchase photos, an order form and payment must be made before the pictures are taken.

If you receive your child's photo and are not satisfied, a picture re-take day is scheduled for Friday, October 15.

Beginning with the 2012 - 2013 School Year, the age for Kindergarten is being moved up to July 31 (if the Governor signs the bill).  Right now, the age is October 15.

There is a possibility the legislature would consider a test for parents who want to have their child enter Kindergarten early; however, the legislature has not acted on any exceptions.

The school will keep parents informed of changes to the law.
