ATTENTION: JR HI PARENTS |
The Twenty-first Century Scholars Program began in 1990 as Indiana's way of raising the educational aspirations of low and moderate-income families. The program aims to ensure that all Indiana families can afford a college education for their children. If your family is income-eligible, the state will provide 4 years of college tuition at an Indiana college. Follow the link below to see if your family is eligible to apply. You can now apply on-line! Students may apply during 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.

THE CURIOUS SAVAGE- NOW PLAYING Apr 29th-May 1st -7:00! |
The Curious Savage is a classic, and a staple of theatres around the country. It’s a timeless piece, written by John Patrick in 1950. I’m surprised it has taken me this long to become acquainted with it. It’s the kind of play that grows on you every time you read it.
Every year I am more and more aware of the wonderful and creative students we have at LCA! The biggest danger as a teacher and director is to underestimate their insight and talent. This cast has put an exclamation point on that truth. The cast and crew have grown to appreciate each other like a family over the past couple of months. They have worked hard to give you the best show possible tonight. The seniors will be greatly missed. Their leadership and commitment to this production and the drama department have been an example for the underclassmen to follow.
The story you are about to see is primarily a comedy, but there are many poignant sentiments as well. Be prepared to be touched by the human spirit and reminded that your relationship with others is infinitely more valuable than the things you may accumulate in life.
Enjoy the show!
