For more information, contact Dee Flynn at 946-3836 or 946-2333.

Baccalaureate Service
Especially for the Class of 2010...Baccalaureate, May 2, 2010, 7:00 p.m. at the Central City Presbyterian Church.  The tradition of the Baccalaureate service began at Oxford in 1432, where graduates were reportedly required to deliver a sermon in Latin.  This year, no Latin and no long sermons by students.  Instead, the event will feature music and readings by this year's Merrick County grads, a speech in English by a local leader, and the gift of a Bible from the Merrick County Ministerial Alliance.  Come celebrate the achievement of graduation at this traditional community event.  Bring family and friends, and plan to stay after to chat and eat cookies!
